Audience Feedback (Treatment)

Below is our audience treatment feedback we used a colourful Wordle to represent the pop genre, overall we got a positive review and people used words to describe our presentation as 'well structured', 'dynamic' and 'good'. I feel that our presentation went well and I was very pleased with our feedback because we were not very sure if our ideas were structured well but know we feel confident within our music video and ideas.

Below is our treatment presentation that we have created, our treatment contains every thing and more that we had on our mind map. We were filmed when we were presenting our presentation none of us stuttered on a slide and our presentation ran smoothly, however when uploading our video the beginning had lines and we later discovered that the beginning did not upload because the tape was not running long enough. Our Treatment Mind Map

Above is the mind map that we have created to help us to think of what we will include in our treatment. We have included ideas of location, themes in our music video, the narrative, the 'feel' which is expressed in out video, costume, make up and hair and the codes and conventions of our music video. When we made our brain storm we thought of new ideas of what we want to include in our music video for example, before we never really thought of what 'feel' we want to portray and how to do it, after thinking about this we feel that we know our target audience and how to make Katy Perry fans not be disappointed with our video.

Treatment Definition

A treatment is an outline of a media production which is designed to give a client or a production team an overview of what the production may be based on a brief. The treatment will include written descriptions about the production, it may have sketches, photographs and videos which are designed to demonstrate the production. A media treatment is used to sell the production to a client or a production company. A treatment is a long process but it is a major aspect of the pre-production process.
