Make Up Ideas
As a group we decided that we wanted Jess to do Michaela's make up when we filmed, Jess is an art student so she could do bold make up with delicate designs to not over shadow the artists face. Jess came up with the idea of including crystals on Michaela's face which conforms with our artists name and it will look glamourous which suits the pop genre. On the right side is the single artwork for Lady GaGa- Love Game which Jess go
t the inspiration from, the crystals areeye catching and it makes the artist seem more famous. We would place the crystals around M
ichaelas's eyes as it will draw attention to her eyes. In Marina & The Diamonds video to 'I'm not a Robot' she had similar make up, the stillshot is on the left.We want to use a bold eye shadow colour as it draws the audience attention to her make up and it will appeal to our female target audience.

Teenage Dream Ideas (Five)
We want our artist in the music video to be fashionable in the Brighton shots and 'girly' in the bedroom shots. There are not many iconic pop female artists who I feel will suit for clothing for our music video for example, Lady Gaga's clothing is very eccentric which gains her publicity. I then decided to research female bands as they tend to be very fashionable for example, Girls Aloud who seems to mix fashion, promiscuous and individuality with each member in their clothing. Although, most female pop artists have personal stylists I feel that we can give our artist an fashionable and individual style with our budget.
After using search engines such as Google we found style icons that we feel will suit our music video for example, for clothing I thought our inspiration could be Frankie Sandford and Vanessa White, I thought of Leighton Meeser for our hair inspiration and lastly Frankie Sandford and Rihanna for our make up inspiration.

Make Up and Costume in her Bedroom
When filming in the girls bedroom we want her make up to look 'natural' which contrasts her make up in Brighton, we decided to do this because we want to show what the girl wants and it is a clue to show that the girl is dreaming.
The natural make up consists of light foundation, vaseline, pink lip gloss, blusher and mascara with this make up it will look natural and it will make our actress feel comfortable when filming.

Make Up and Costume in Brighton
When filming in Brighton we want to have our lead woman's make up as black smokey eye because we want her outfit to seem 'rocky' which challenges the pop genre, we want the make up and costume in Brighton to contrast the make up and costume in her bedroom. On the left is a picture that we found on the search en
gine Google, we want her to have foundation on and nude colour lipgloss so the audience focus mainly on her eye make-up. Ideally we want her eye make up to look like this (left) but when we tried to re-create this style (right) it did not work as well as we hoped because our eye make up was lighter and we found it difficult to get that exact look. Before we start filming we will need to keep trying to re-create that eye make up. Below is a video of how to get the smokey eye look which is from Youtube although this look is lighter than the picture that we got from Google.
We found this tutorial very helpful for us to use but we want our eye make up to be darker so we will use different products or find different videos where the final looks turn out to be more how we want our eye make up to turn out.
