Email to Capitol Records

We have emailed Capitol Records to make sure that we are allowed to use Katy Perry- Teenage Dream and to ensure them that it is only for educational. If we did not email the record label and they saw our music video they could block our video from YouTube.
We found it very difficult finding the producer of the song 'Teenage Dream' because the song and the album are both called Teenage Dream when we used search engines and websites such as Google and Wikipedia every producer of the album said Teenage Dream. Then we decided to get in touch with Katy Perrys current record label Capitol Records.
This is our email.

Dear Capitol Records,

We are writing to ask for permission to use your song ‘Teenage Dream’ by Katy Perry; our names are: Michaela, Jessica, Dominique and Emily.
We are currently studying media studies as an A level at Enfield County School, and as part of this we are making a music video for our coursework. We would very much like to use your song for this. We assure you that we have no intent to sell our video and there will not be any copyright issues as it will be solely used for educational purposes.

Please contact us if you have any queries or concerns.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email we look forward to hearing from you.

Yours Faithfully,
Michaela Carberry, Jessica Priddle, Dominique Shiells Edwards and Emily Bowe.
